Juliana Friedman, MA, AMFT
Associate Therapist
There’s so much uncertainty in life, which can feel very overwhelming – so I’m glad you are here seeking support. We all have strengths and inner resources, but sometimes our ability to access them is clouded. Sometimes we believe an old, limiting story about who we are or how we are supposed to be. Sometimes we just feel stuck. Our lives can feel more difficult than expected – relationships can suffer, and connection can feel elusive. I have the life experience and clinical training to help. In therapy, we will shift the focus toward creating your preferred story, allowing your authentic self to emerge.
Whether you’re seeking therapy for grief/loss, anxiety, depression, self esteem, relationship challenges, or life transitions (such as midlife/menopause), I’m here to help guide you toward a life with more ease. My approach to therapy is warm and direct, and integrates various modalities tailored to each client individually.
Helping sensitive people with a desire for personal growth is my passion. It may mean shifting an ineffective way of thinking, it may mean setting boundaries or learning to have care and compassion for yourself in a new way. Ultimately, you’ll be able to create a healthier, happier, and more meaningful life.
